Ireland's Craig Breen claimed his first podium finish of the season and he claimed third place in the ERC Rally Latvia.
Breen, who had been in contention throughout made it safely through the 24.92km of SS12 but was unable to make up ground on race winner Esapekka Lappi of Finland.
Lappi was fastest on the final test to take top spot, while Russian driver Vasily Gryazin finished second.
"It’s a really good start to the season and a really nice rally," Gryazin told Eurosport.
“If we can continue like this then we will be very pleased. Yesterday was difficult because of the snow so I had to be careful and cautious not to make stupid mistakes. Our Michelin tyres have been very good.”
This was Breen's final appearance in a Peugeot 207 S2000 before he changes to the Peugeot 208 T16 for the Acropolis Rally next month.
