Irish rally driver Craig Breen begins European (ERC) Rally Championship Rallye Sanremo this afternoon as number one seed.

The penultimate ERC event of the season is based in north-western Italy with the tarmac special stages located around the picturesque seaside town of Sanremo.

Ten special stages were originally planned for the rally with four taking place today including the events highlight Ronde stage at 55kms to mark the 55th running of the event.

But in a late change for spectator safety this test has now been split into two parts.

Revised schedule:

Start : Sanremo 1pm

1. Coldirodi (14.34kms) 1.33pm
2. Apricale (17.75kms) 2.01pm
3. Vignai (20.40kms) 2.28pm

Sanremo Service 7.18pm

4. Ronde (33.87kms) 8.21pm
5. Ronde B (20.40kms) 9.06pm

Sanremo Service 10.10pm

Sanremo 11.01pm - Parme Ferme
