Irish driver Craig Breen finished seventh overall at the ERC Rally Poland.

Breen was fighting for sixth place but suffered yet another puncture on the final test and this dropped him back behind Polish driver Krzsztof Hollowczyc.

After the race, he said: “[I’m] disappointed to pick up that puncture on the last one (stage). Hats off to Lara [Vanneste, co-driver], my pace notes are very detailed and she did a great job.

“It’s not the result we would have wanted but there is some positives from our speed over today’s stages. I look forward now to ERC Sanremo (Italy) next month.”
