Craig Breen has finished in third position in Belgium after ERC Rally Ypers screamed to a finish.

After a 14 stage marathon day in West Belgium, the final stage of the rally was cancelled when on safety grounds when the cars of Mikko Pajunen and Davy Vanneste caught fire and blocked the stage.

Both crews were unharmed and event organisers have confirmed the results of the event have been declared after stage 1.

This means that Craig Breen, who lost time on the cancelled 20th stage stuck in a ditch, keeps his third place behind Bryan Bouffier.

This brings Craig’s total of podium finishes this year in the ERC to four out of five events as the Peugeot Rally Academy driver strengthens his grip on second place in the European Rally Championship.
