Stars confirmed for Cork rally

Organisers of the Murphy Construction Cork '20' International Rally, the final round of the Global Group Irish Tarmac Championship, have received entries from World Championship teams, BP-Ford and Citroen.
BP-Ford finally confirmed that Mikko Hirvonen will drive their Ford Focus in the two-day Cork event.
In addition, Citroen has also declared that both World champion, Sebastien Loeb and team-mate, Dani Sordo will also participate in the 16-stage rally in their Citroen C4 WRC's.
Currently in the World Rally Championship, Marcus Gronholm (Ford) leads reigning champion, Sebastien Loeb (Citroen) by ten points and in the Manufacturer's title, Ford lead Citroen by 46 points.
Following their appearances in Cork they will compete in the WRC events in Spain, France and Japan before Rally Ireland in November.
