Gallagher leaves Team Ireland

Mark Gallagher, the team principal of Team Ireland, is leaving the current A1 Grand Prix champions to join Cosworth.

The British engine manufacturer will supply engines to the three new Formula One teams - Manor, Campos and Team US F1 - from next season and Gallagher, who has been team principal to Team Ireland for the past four seasons, joins Cosworth to head up their business unit.

The new season A1GP season is due to get under way in Australia in October.
