Sheriff have been thrown out of the FAI Cup after it was found they fielded an ineligible player in the 3-2 win over Shelbourne in the fourth round.

The non-league side beat Shelbourne in the fourth round, coming from two goals down to win 3-2 in a dramatic night in Tolka Park.
