The Irish Hockey Association have named Denis Pritchard as the interim National Women's hockey coach.

The Irish Hockey Association have named Denis Pritchard as the interim National Women’s hockey coach. 

Pritchard has worked as assistant coach to the team for the last five years and will step into the role with immediate effect until the end of the Champions Challenge I in early October. 

He comes into the role with a wealth of experience, previously working successfully as Senior Munster Coach along with a successful stint as Cork C of I in which he won the All Ireland Club Championships in 2007.
