European Tour officials have been forced to abandon the opening day of the Austrian Open in Vienna as torrential rain continues to batter the course at the Fontana Golf Club.
Officials originally decided to delay the start of the event by six hours but have now been forced to concede that no play can take place.
The first round will now be played tomorrow with officials faced with the option of reducing the event to 54 holes or continue on with 72.
