The final figure for Padraig Harrington's sale of his golfing clubs, bags, framed pictures, shirts and other memorabilia for GOAL has topped €70,000.
The three-time Major winner was relieved of virtually every golfing item after more than 5,000 people descended on the Harvey Nichols store in Dundrum Shopping Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Harrington remained on at the store until after 5pm signing autographs and posing for pictures.
A framed and signed picture of the four major winners who played in the annual 'Grand Slam of Golf' event in Bermuda in 2007 fetched €2,000, while a number of Harrington's golf bags which have been used by him in professional tournaments went for over €500.
One lucky punter also took home the putter that the three-time major winner used to win the Irish Open in Adare Manor in 2007 and donated over €500 to GOAL in the process.
