Latest from the Portugal Masters

The live leaderboard is available here.

Irish trio Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke and Paul McGinley all made fast starts to the Portugal Masters at the Oceanico Victoria Club in Vilamoura today.

Chasing their first victories on the European Tour this year, Harrington and Clarke both birdied the 11th and 12th, while McGinley did not even wait that long to claim a share of the lead. He birdied his first two holes.

Still trying to get back into the race for the Tour money list title - he is currently down in 21st spot - Harrington's opening drive was pulled into a fairway bunker.

But he saved par from there, hit his approach to 12 feet on the next and from just over the green in two at the 547-yard 12th chipped dead.

Having holed from six feet at the 11th Clarke was unable to go for the green after pushing his next drive, but pitched to five feet to go to two under.

McGinley, meanwhile, pitched close on the 406-yard 10th and followed that with another birdie to give himself a share of the lead.
