1.15am - Westwood and Quiros the last of the challengers to finish. Westwood finishes on two under, while Quiros bogeys the 18th and will start on Saturday on one over .
Should be an interesting day of golf on Saturday and now it is a case of can anyone stay with Tiger or will this tournament be wrapped up before the final day's play?
The cut for the weekend is four over.
Join us here on RTE.ie on Saturday for more of the same.
1.07am - Harrington slips past the hole and will start tomorrow on three under but he will not play with Woods as Singh was first into the clubhouse on three under.
1.05am - Bogey for Tiger to finish. Seven under at the halfway stage. Looking good for another major. Now Paddy has to sink this to play with Woods on Saturday.
1.03am - Nice shot onto green by Harrington - bumped it on from the rough - but has a tricky par putt to go in four under.
1.01am - A apr here for Harrington will guarantee he plays with Tiger again on Saturday. Seems to suit his game and he appears to thrive under the spotlight and the big crowds.
12.58am - Standing ovation for Woods and harrington on 18th green. Neither likely to birdie here from edge of green. Westwood double-bogeys to drop to two under.
12.43am - Harrington just short on birdie attempt. Taps in to stay at four under. Tiger is short with his birdie effort. Stays at eight under.
12.38am - Tiger and Paddy safely onto the green at 17. Long birdie putts for both players. Westwood in trouble off the green on 16.

12.28am - Woods is on fire sinking a 25-foot putt for birdie. Harrington was on the same line for birdie but cannot emulate the Tiger. Four-shot lead now for Woods.
12.22am - Birdie for Westwood puts him level with Harrington on four under.
12.16am - McIlroy almost finishes with a fantastic chip into the hole but it clips the lip and stays out. Level par finish for McIlroy to be well placed going into the weekend.
12.12am - Birdie for Harrington to go back to four under. Tiger birdies as well to push ahead. Three shots clear for Tiger.
12.11am - Paddy's putt catches the lip and now a tricky enough birdie putt to go back into second place.
12.06am - Rory Sabbatini putting on a late charge now four under for the day, two under overall with three to play.
12.04am - Harrington hits it 301 yards from the sand to set up an eagle putt. An amazing shot to get Harrington back on track. Woods goes through the green but should get down in two for a birdie.
11.59pm - McDowell finishing strongly and back to level par after 16. McIlroy drops a shot at 17. In fact, two shots after a sloppy miss from three feet. Double bogey to join McDowell on level par.
11.55pm - McIlroy avoids the water and chips a nice shot back onto the green. Tough parr putt though. Fisher drops a shot on the 18th. Finishes on three under.
11.51pm - McIlroy goes way left on the 17th par three and may be in water.
11.49pm - Birdie for Harrington gets him back to three under with four to play.
11.47pm - Tiger misses eagle putt by a whisker. Six under and now a two-shot lead.
11.46 - COURSE LATEST FROM RTE's GREG ALLEN
Harrington has not quite lost his game with the three bogies in a row from the 12th but he looks fatigued and he now needs to find some mental and physical energy over the closing holes and take advantage of the driveable par four 14th and the par five fifteenth, which McIlroy reached in two.
They are the two best birdie opportunities on the back nine.
Sad to see Graeme McDowell's slide down to a tie for 27th place with five bogies in seven holes. Three hours ago he was tied for the lead.
11.45pm - Harrington gives himself a great birdie chance on 14 after great bunker shot.
11.39pm - As predicted, cut dropping out to four over. Tiger just hits a three wood onto the 14th green from the tee. Eagle putt coming up. McIlroy drops back to two under after going into the water on 16.
11.34pm - Tiger just misses out on birdie putt. Stays on five under after 13.
11.33pm - Bogey but great effort by Harrington as he falls to two under.
11.30pm - Harrington in trouble on the 13th. Huge par putt. Bogey is likely here for Paddy.
11.25pm - McDowell cannot finish this round quick enough. Two over now with three to play. Lee Westwood up to three-under. McIlroy birdies the 15th to go three under.
11.19pm - Big par putt for Woods. Harrington misses to the right to drop back to three under with six to play.
11.17pm - Birdie for Fisher to go joint top with Tiger. That's six under for the day for Fisher. Quality round.
11.10pm - Tiger and Paddy must chip on for three on the 12th. No birdies here by the looks of it. Ross Fisher looking very comfortable on the 16th.
11.05pm - McIlroy back up to two under after birdie. Harrington misses the fairway on 12th as does Woods.
11.02pm - Quiros hits an immaculate shot off the fairway with driver and easily makes the distance but hits the bunker.
11.00pm - Bogey for Harrington. Tiger saves par. One between them again. Meanwhile, Quiros is playing a driver off the fairway to try and make the monster 606-yard 11th in two. And it's into the wind... Here goes!!
10.53pm - McDowell drops another to go back to level par. Harrington plays his third to the back of the green. Tricky fourth shot required.
10.48pm - Woods hits the green on the 11th but a monster putt required. Harrington is in trouble in the trees.
10.44pm - McDowell bogeys to join McIlroy on one under. Stenson drops back to one under as well.
10.41pm - McIlroy misses birdie chance on 13. Should stay on one under with five to play. Fisher almost sinks an eagle that would have brought him level at the top. Taps in for birdie to go four under.
10.37pm - Bogey for Tiger. Harrington barely sinks three-footer par putt to share lead on five under.
10.36pm - Fisher back up to three under and Henrik Stenson introducing himself to the top of the leaderboard on two under, three under for the day after 11.

10.26pm - Boo Weekley is on the march with an eagle on seven and birdie on the eighth to get back to one over. To a chorus of Boos of course.
10.19pm - McIlroy bogeys and drops back to one under after 11.
10.17pm - McDowell two under after ten. Tiger just misses birdie but Harrington's ball circles the hole and drops in for a birdie to move back to five under.
10.11PM - Great second shot for Paddy. Great birdie chance here.
10.05pm - Quiros back to two under after missing par putt. Tiger and Harrington safe up the ninth fairway.
10.04pm - Harrington putt has no pace and drifts below the hole. Taps in for par. Tiger gets par as well
10.03pm - Quiros not in water but not a great shot back on to green.
10.00pm - Tiger leaves his birdie chance short and wide. Quiros looks like he has just chipped out of the sand into the water. Camera angle not conclusive but no ripples in the water so he might be ok. McDowell misses a putt for par on his ninth. BAck to two under.
9.54pm - Tiger hits the middle of the green on the par three eighth and Harrington gets a great kick to bounce onto the green to set up a very gettable birdie attempt. McDowell leaves a birdie effort way short on his ninth (18th). Tough par putt there for the G-Mac.
9.50pm - Woods makes birdie to put a bit of daylight at the top of the leaderboard. Woods now on six under.
9.49pm - Harrington sinks a ten-footer for par. Very sloppy hole by Paddy there.
9.42pm - Harrington nearly hits the water on the seventh. Shades of Firestone but stays dry. Hunter Mahan does something similar but finds the water on the eighth. Actually Mahan's stay on the grass. Very lucky there...
9.28pm - And we're back. I see Woods has gone back in front with Harrington back a shot and McDowell back another on three under after seven. McIlroy back on track at two under after nine.
8.45pm - Lunch has been called here as McDowell joins the top of the leaderboard on four under. Great putt. Back in half an hour to see out the night.
8.44pm - Great birdie for McIltroy to get back on track. Level par now after six.
8.41pm - McIlroy hits a beauty into the sixth green. Tiger makes par. McDowell has just driven through the green on the 14th (his fifth), which is only playing 299 yards today.
8.40pm - Bogey for Harrington. Ball just drifted past the top of the hole.
8.35pm - Good shot out of sand for Paddy. About ten feet to go for par.
8.34pm - Cut line has drifted to three over. That four over prediction could be spot on by the end of play.
8.33pm - Woods third shot pitched onto green but a long putt ahead for a birdie.
8.32pm - Harrington struggling on the par five third. In bunker off green playing his fourth shot.
8.30pm - Birdie for Quiros on two. Joins Tiger and Paddy on top of the leaderboard.

8.21pm - Par for Padraig and Woods on the second.
8.17pm - Birdie for McDowell on his third (12th). Three under now for the G-Mac.
8.15pm - Wind really picking up around the course should make for a few interesting hours ahead.

8.06pm - Harrington happy with drive on the second. Tiger safe down the fairway as well.

8.01pm - Great chip and tap in for Padraig to stay four under after one.
7.58pm - Woods has to chip on for third as well. Beem and Woods have tricky par putts ahead. Harrington to chip next.
7.55pm - Harrington just shy of the green after two. Lucky to avoid the
7.51pm - Goosen taps in to finish on four over. Talk around the course now that four over might be good enough to make the cut.
7.50pm - Tiger just off the fairway in the rough - should be ok for his second though.
7.48pm - First up from I.R.Land Padraig Harrington. Straight and long from Harrington safely onto the fairway.
7.45pm - Woods, Harrington and Beem set to tee off, just waiting for group ahead of them to play their second.
7.41pm - McDowell safely negotiates the first. Two under after one.
7.39pm - Another bogey for McIlroy - terrible start now on one over after two.
7.35pm - Harrington and Woods strolling towards the first tee, oh yeah, and Rich Beem is there as well. Nobody talking about Beem but still very much in contention on one under.
7.34pm - McIlroy back to level par after a bogey on the first.
7.32pm - Glover and Brendan Jones in the clubhouse on three under. Tim Clark drops one on the final hole to post a 68 and go into the clubhouse on level par.

7.20pm - COURSE LATEST FROM RTE's GREG ALLEN
It's been a peculiar morning's play here because of the lack of movement near the top of the leaderboard.
There are good rounds in progress - Tim Clark is five under for the day after 17, Ernie Els four under after 18, Lucas Glover three under with one to play.
There's no doubt that the wind is testing but it's not howling. Of more concern to Woods and Harrington might be the condition of the greens after the morning starters have spiked them up.
7.17pm - Els play a majestic iron into the 18th - looks like a tap in for birdie to post a top notch 68 and a very impressive one under overall ahead of the weekend.
7.13pm - McIlroy about to tee off. Lucas Glover jumps to four under, while Vijay has to settle with an even par 72 to finish on three under going into the weekend. Poulter chips onto 18th green at two under with a good birdie chance to finish.
7.03pm - Kjeldsen back down to one under after dropping two shot. Still one to play for the Dane.
7.00pm - Tim Clark having a fantastic round, five under for the day, one under for the tournament with two to play. Paul Goydos just started making par on the first to remain two under.
6.48pm - Birdie for Vijay on his 16th puts him level with Harrington on four under.
6.36pm - Ian Poulter now two under after 15 and Glover to three under now after 14.
6.24pm - Darren Clarke has finished with a four-over 76, ten over overall. Safe to say Clarkey won't be around for the weekend with the projected cut looking like two over.
6.19pm - It's been a good day for Ernie Els jumping up 48 places, two under for the day up to one over overall with four to play.
6.10pm - Less than an hour now before the big boys start their second round. McIlroy out at 7.05pm Irish time, McDowell at 7.15pm followed by Tiger and Padraig at 7.45pm. Lucas Glover doing nicely on two under with six to play, while Ian Poulter is having a steady round still on level par after 13.
6.07pm - Soren Kjeldsen and Brendan Jones both now on three under after 14. Jones is two under for the day and now there is a group of seven on three under.
5.57pm - After all the talk about conditions being better this morning, no one has managed to attack the leaderboard with only Vijay maintaining his place at the top of the leaderboard. Reports from the course that anything under par today will be a good score.
Tim Clark is about the best on the course at the moment four under for the day to bring him back to level par after 13.
Darren Clarke has pulled a shot back and sits on nine over with two to play.
5.10pm After failing to make par on five of his opening nine holes on the back nine, Clarke has steadied his game somewhat and made par on his first four holes since the turn. This keeps him at 10-over, and with the cut projected somewhere around two or three-over, there is little to no chance of the Dungannon man playing into the weekend.
4.25pm Latest update from RTÉ Sport's man in Minnesota, Greg Allen:
Just in from the course and the wind has definitely risen earlier than was originally forecast, which is quite good news for the late starters which include Harrington on 4 under, McDowell on 2 under and McIlroy on 1 under. However, the winds later, are likely to be a bit stronger than they are now and Hazeltine is a pretty open and exposed course in places and the lakeside holes, especially the exceptional 402 yard par 4 16th, will be particularily treacherous. In addition, the greens really got quite bumpy with spike marks yesterday afternoon, so it will be tough for Woods and Harrington and the rest of the late men out.
4.15pm There have been a couple of significant movers up the leaderboard, with Kevin Sutherland's charge from 34th to tenth catching the eye. The American has hit three birdies in last four holes (from 6 to 9) to move to three-under for the day and two-under for the tournament. Australian Geoff Ogilvy is also in a share for 10th on two-under through eight.
4pm Clarke made par at 15 and birdied the 16th but remains on nive-over (not nine-under as suggested earlier) with a bogey at the par three 17th.
3.50pm In the PGA.com marquee group, Ryo Ishikawa four-putted the par three 17th for a double bogey to fall to three-over through eight, while Adam Scott, well off the pace at 11-over, three-putted the 182 yard hole for bogey.
3.15pm Clarke followed that with a birdie at the par four 14th to move to nine-under (oops...over) through six. Singh and Toms are the only front-runners on the course, and both are on three-under after three and two respectively. Conditions are a little windier than yesterday despite the blue skies, with winds expected to gust between 20 and 30mph later this afternoon. That will not be welcomed by Mssrs Woods, Harrington et al, who are out on the course at 1.45pm local time, 7.45pm Irish time.
2.45pm Welcome to day two of our live text commentary from the US PGA Championship. The early action today has seen Vijay Singh join Harrington on four-under after two holes, while Darren Clarke's poor start has continued with two bogeys and a double bogey six at the 12th, his third hole of the day.
