Eye of the Tiger on Masters title

Tiger Woods has admitted he has altered his opinion on what constitutes golf's Grand Slam. The world number one said that he always believed winning the Grand Slam meant winning all of golf's four majors in the one season but now, with three major titles in the last twelve months sitting proudly in his living room, he is determined to add the Masters trophy to his haul. "If I can put the Masters there as well that's good enough for me," said Woods yesterday after he won golf's unofficial fifth major - The Players Championship.

Yesterday's one-shot victory over Masters champion Vijay Singh increases Woods' tally to 34 wins in 120 professional tournaments and now all eyes will be on him as he turns his attentions to this year's Masters at Augusta, which gets underway on Thursday week. "I feel pretty good about it," was Woods' verdict on his chances at Augusta.
