Central Council to decide Mayo's fate
Updated: Monday, 05 Jul 2010 13:32
Central Council will make a decision on the future of the Mayo ladies football team on Wednesday in Tullamore after the team withdrew from the Championship earlier this season.
Mayo pulled out of the competition after they were unable to appoint a new manager following Pat Costello’s resignation in April.
Mayo resumed training last week after being granted permission by ladies football chief executive Helen O’Rourke.
They will face Sligo in the Connacht semi-final if the Central Council allow them a return to action.
