Donegal will play Division 2B hurling next season after seeing off Fingal 2-16 to 0-08 in the Division 2B/3A relegation/promotion final.

Paddy Hannigan struck two goals, one in either half, to fire Donegal to victory.

Donegal had to play the second half with 14 men after Jamesie Donnelly was given a red card following an incident with Ross McGarry as the teams went in at half-time.

Kevin Campbell also added nine points to the Donegal total, his free-taking proving significant in the end.

Despite playing with an extra man, Fingal could not find a way through the Donegal defence as Ray Durack's side sealed their place in Division 2B.
