Cian McCarthy will start for Cork in their All-Ireland Senior Hurling final replay with Clare on Saturday in Croke Park.

McCarthy's inclusion represents the only change in Jimmy Barry Murphy's team from the first match at Croke Park which was a 0-25 to 3-16 draw.

Jamie Coughlan is the player to make way for McCarthy and he is named among the substitutes.

Seamus Harnedy is also named in the starting fifteen despite continuing to feel the effects of a knock picked up in the drawn game.

Harnedy has not played a full role in recent training sessions but the Cork management appear to be confident that he will be fit for Saturday's encounter.

Cork: Anthony Nash; Stephen McDonnell, Shane O’Neill, Conor O’Sullivan; Brian Murphy, Christopher Joyce, William Egan; Lorcáin McLoughlin, Daniel Kearney; Séamus Harnedy, Cian McCarthy, Patrick Cronin (c); Luke O’Farrell, Patrick Horgan, Conor Lehane.

Substitutes: Darren McCarthy, Killian Murphy, Mark Ellis, Tom Kenny, Stephen White, Rob O’Shea, Jamie Coughlan, Cathal Naughton, Stephen Moylan, Michael O’Sullivan, Michael Cussen.
