Henry Shefflin has been named in the Kilkenny side to face Cork in Sunday’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final at Semple Stadium (throw-in 2pm).

The 34-year-old lines up alongside Walter Walsh and Richie Hogan in the full-forward line after overcoming his injury travails.

Michael Rice makes ways for Cillian Buckley, who partners Michael Fennelly in midfield.

Eoin Larkin has been named in the half-forward line, with Matthew Ruth dropping to the bench.

Kilkenny: Eoin Murphy, Paul Murphy, JJ Delaney, Jackie Tyrell, Tommy Walsh, Brian Hogan, Kieran Joyce, Cillian Buckley, Michael Fennelly, Colin Fennelly (c), Richie Power, Eoin Larkin, Walter Walsh, Richie Hogan, Henry Shefflin.
