Waterford introduce three championship newcomers for their Munster SHC quarter-final clash with Clare at Semple Stadium.

Paudie Prendergast from the Lismore club has been named in the half–back line. Up front, Jamie Barron and Jake Dillon will occupy the corner forward berths.

Ian O’Regan, who was last involved with the Déise in 2004, starts between the posts.

Kevin Moran will captain the side from midfield.
