James McGrath to referee Hurling final replay between Galway and Kilkenny

Westmeath referee James McGrath will be in charge for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final replay between Galway and Kilkenny on 30 September.

Galway fans may take it as a good omen that McGrath was also the referee for their Leinster final victory over the Cats in July.

Barry Kelly, who refereed the drawn final on 9 September will take over as linesman for the replay while Galway's Alan Kelly has been confirmed as referee for the Minor final replay between Dublin and Tipperary.
