The GAA have confirmed that Westmeath referee Barry Kelly will be in charge for this year's All Ireland Hurling final between Galway and Kilkenny.

This will be Kelly's third senior All Ireland final - he refereed the 2006 clash between Kilkenny and Cork, and the 2008 game between Kilkenny and Waterford.

Corkman Colm Lyons will take charge of the minor final between Dublin and Tipperary.
