Kilkenny lead the way with 14 nominations for this year's GAA GPA All Star hurling awards.

In total, six counties are represented, with All-Ireland runners-up Tipperary having 10 players nominated, the same number as Allianz League winners Dublin.

Waterford have six nominees, while Limerick have three and Galway have two.

The final team of 15 players will be presented at the banquet event at Convention Centre Dublin on Friday, 21 October and will be televised live on RTÉ television.
