Pat Kerwick could yet feature for Tipperary in Sunday week's All-Ireland hurling final against Kilkenny after the player came on towards the end of a challenge game against Portumna.
The Killenaule forward has been troubled with a groin injury all year and his only appearance for the Premier was in a League match again Offaly in the spring. However, he scored a few points when introduced against the Galway club side, raising hopes that he may be introduced at some stage against the Cats.
Pa Burke and Seamus Callanan are other attacking options for Tipperary boss Liam Sheedy and they also played against Portumna. However, Sheedy is expected to name the same starting XV that started against Waterford in the semi-final for the All-Ireland showdown on 5 September
