Clare set to appoint new boss

Mike McNamara’s replacement as Clare manager is already being lined up according to reports on Wednesday morning.
McNamara tendered his resignation as Clare Hurling manager at a special County Board meeting in Ennis on Tuesday.
The former All-Ireland winning Clare forward Ger ‘Sparrow’ O'Loughlin is expected to take over, with his appointment due to be ratified at the Clare County Convention on Thursday.
McNamara had been involved in a dispute with his players.
