John McIntyre has announced a new-look squad for the coming year, while leaving the door open for changes.

He has brought in nine players not involved last time out, while dropping the likes of Fergal Healy and Alan Kerins.

Also out are defenders Ger Mahon, Martin Ryan and Brian Costello, and U21 forward Eoin Forde, while midfielder David Tierney and full-back Damien McClearn have opted out.

Rahoon-Newcastle full-back Tony Óg Regan is back after missing out last season while David Collins, defender Ciaran O’Donovan and Iarla Tannian all return following injury.

Also back is Mullagh defender Conor Dervan, who will be eligible at the end of January after a his 48-week ban was reduced to 12.

All-Ireland senior club champions for three of the last four years, Portumna, are once again heavily involved with eight players included; Ollie Canning, Eugene McEntee, Eoin Lynch, Kevin Hayes, Andy Smith, Damien Hayes, Joe Canning and Niall Hayes are all part of the 34-man squad for next year.
