Clare players expected to meet McNamara
Updated: Thursday, 26 Nov 2009 10:39
The Clare hurlers and manager Mike McNamara are expected to meet tonight in a bid to resolve their differences.
McNamara and his management team of Ollie Baker and Alan Cunningham were ratified to see out their term despite unrest amongst the panel after a disastrous league and championship.
The majority of the panel sent an letter to the board last month urging them to appoint a new manager, while McNamara said recently: 'If it can be resolved it will be, but we won't be talking or dragging things out until next March, I assure you.'
It is reported in The Independent that all parties will meet with a breakthrough expected this week.
