Ollie Moran has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling, bringing to an end 12 years with the Limerick senior team.

Moran made his Limerick debut in the League in 1997 and helped the county clinch the League title that year.

Moran also enjoyed club success with Ahane, winning the county championship on three occasions, while he was an All-Star in 2007 after Limerick reached the All-Ireland final before losing out to Kilkenny.
