Honan expected to feature for Banner

Clare Under-21 forward Darach Honan will play in next Sunday’s Bord Gáis Energy All-Ireland Under-21 final against Kilkenny.

Honan has been troubled by a hamstring injury, but according to the Examiner it has responded well to treatment. Honan’s team-mates Cathal Chaplin should also be fit for the decider though Seán Collins remains a doubt with a shoulder injury.

Kilkenny have no injury worries and are expected to name an unchanged side from their semi-final victory over Antrim.
