Bonnar furious with relegation plans

Wexford hurling manager Colm Bonnar has reacted furiously to the GAA's decision to push ahead with plans for the All-Ireland SHC relegation play-offs.
The play-offs will see Wexford play Clare and Offaly take Antrim, with the losers of both those games meeting in a match to decide who will face the drop.
There has been huge opposition to the new system and there had been doubts it would happen given that Antrim were promised three years of competition in the Leinster Hurling Championship.
However, despite this, the GAA have pushed ahead with its plans and Bonnar said: ' I can't understand why they're trying to relegate one of the teams.
'Going down to the Christy Ring Cup could set hurling in this county back years. It's a joke.'
