The Tyrone County Board have confirmed that their senior hurling manager Kevin McNaughton has stepped down from the post after two years in charge.
The board had begun discussions with Kevin to extend his time with the county but during those talks McNaughton indicated that work commitments would rule him out for 2009.
The board confirmed that they have already met with hurling club officials to begin the search for the next manager.
