Louth captured their first NHL title since 2000 thanks to a hard-fought victory over Donegal in Rooskey today.
Despite playing against the wind in the opening half, Louth led by 1-07 to 0-08 at the break thanks to a Shane Fennell goal.
Donegal failed to give up with Kevin Campbell and Colm Breathnach making a good impact, but Louth's full-back line was solid.
After the game GAA President Nickey Brennan presented the cup to Louth captain David Dunne who top-scored with eight points.
