Brady secures sixth consecutve US Nationals title

Cavan’s Paul Brady has won his sixth consecutive Men’s Open Singles title. Brady beat Missouri's David Chapman in the final at this year's USHA Four-Wall National Championships, at the University Of Texas, Austin, Texas, USA, on Saturday.
Brady came through the final on a scoreline of 21-8, 21-9.
In the Women’s Open Singles final, Antrim’s Aisling Reilly easily defeated Jennifer Schmitt of Texas, over two games, on a scoreline of 21-2, 21-7, to claim her maiden title.
Ireland’s success continued into the Men’s Open Doubles final when Kilkenny handballer, Michael ‘Ducksy’ Walsh partnered ace Meath veteran Tom Sheridan to glory. The Irish pair defeated American duo Luis Moreno and Sean Lenning over two games. The score was 21-6, 21-12.
Walsh also bagged the Men’s Masters (40+) crown. Walsh saw off the challenge of California’s Mike McDonald in the final. The final score was 21-9, 21-9.
Ciaran Neary won the Men’s B Singles title. Neary defeated Christian Torres of Illinois in the final. Yet again victory was in two games, 21-15 21-7.
