A mass brawl marred the Ulster Football Championship clash between Armagh and Cavan in the Athletic Grounds on Sunday.

Fighting and scuffles broke out at the pre-match parade prior to throw-in with up to 15 players involved.

Punches were thrown and Cavan’s Martin Dunne was unable to play after picking up an injury.

He was pictured in a sling when watching the game in the first half.

No players were sent off by referee Marty Duffy.

An Ulster Council statement, issued to the BBC, said that the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee will "view the referee's report and any action will arise from the findings."

Armagh won the game 1-12 to 0-09.
