Tyrone’s Conor Clarke will miss the rest of the 2014 season after a scan revealed that he sustained a cruciate knee injury in a club game last weekend.

Clarke fell awkwardly on his left knee while playing for Omagh St Enda’s against Coalisland and was forced to leave the field of play after only 12 minutes.

His loss is a blow to the Red Hand cause ahead of the Ulster SFC quarter-final against Monaghan. Clarke had started at midfield in both the drawn and replay games against Down.
