The Munster Council have confirmed than the Munster SFC will become a seeded competition for the 2014 Championship.

The 2014 format will keep this year’s Munster SFC finalists Cork and Kerry at opposite sides of the draw.

The proposal was made by the Provincial Competitions Control Committee, however, no motions were forthcoming from the delegates in relation to the format of all other Munster Championship competitions from minor upwards in hurling and football.
