Donegal's All-Ireland-winning manager Jim McGuinness is expected to stay on for the final year of his four-year term following a meeting with the county's senior panel today.

McGuinness is due to meet county board officials in the coming days where RTÉ Sport understands he will ask for certain structural changes pertaining to club fixtures within the county.

The Glenties man had been coy when asked about his future in the aftermath of their 16-point defeat to Mayo in the All-Ireland quarter-finals three weeks ago but it now appears he will see out his four-year deal with the 2012 Sam Maguire winners.
