Mayo’s Cillian O’Connor is a major doubt for the county’s Connacht SFC semi-final clash against Roscommon after suffering a shoulder injury in a club encounter on Saturday.

O’Connor, who registered six points in last week’s 4-16 to 0-11 drubbing of Galway, was in action for Ballintubber in a Mayo club championship against Claremorris when he sustained the injury.

He was taken to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar for treatment as his team-mates went on to record a 3-11 to 1-12 victory.
