First championship start for Longford trio against Wicklow

Longford manager Glen Ryan has introduced three championships newcomers to the side for Sunday’s Leinster SFC preliminary round clash with Wicklow in Aughrim.

Pádraig McCrormack and Robbie Smyth, both members of the U-21 side that got to this year’s Leinster final, start at No 12 and No 13 respectively.

The other new face is midfielder Michael Brady. Paul Barden captains the side from centre forward.
