Galway have named a new-look side for their quarter-final with Mayo in the Connacht Football Championship in Pearse Stadium.

The team shows a number of changes from Galway's last Championship outing against Antrim last year.

Manus Breathnach replaces Adrian Faherty in goal while Colin Forde is in at full back replacing the injured Finian Hanley.

Gary Sweeney and Gary Sice start in defence in place of Gary O'Donnell and Tomas Fahy.

Niall Coleman comes in for the retired Joe Bergin while up front, Thomas Flynn takes Sice's role at number 10 with Danny Cummins in for Mark Hehir.

Sean Armstrong and Michael Meehan bring some familiarity to the forward line.

Galway: Manus Breathnach, Johnny Duane, Colin Forde, Gary Sweeney, Gareth Bradshaw (captain), Keith Kelly, Gary Sice, Niall Coleman, Fiontan O'Curraoin, Thomas Flynn, Paul Conroy, Conor Doherty, Sean Armstrong, Michael Meehan, Danny Cummins
