Tyrone forward Peter Harte is expected to miss the Allianz League Division 1 final against Dublin at the end of the month.

The 23-year-old damaged his hamstring in Sunday’s semi-final win over Kildare.

Manager Mickey Harte told the BBC that his nephew was now "very, very doubtful" for the final.

The Red Hands manager added that Joe McMahon is expected to be fit in time for the decider.

Meanwhile, Dermot Earley's participation in this year's Championship is in doubt.

The Kildare midfielder, who turns 35 this summer, has undergone surgery in an effort to cure painful back spasms.

It is not yet known whether the operation has been a success.

Kildare begin their Leinster Championship campaign against Offaly in Croke Park on 1 June
