Mickey Harte says that Tyrone's Round 6 win over Kildare will have no bearing on Sunday’s National Football League Division 1 semi-final.

The Red Hands came away from Newbridge with a six-point victory just three weeks ago and Harte reckons that it will go down to the wire in Croke Park.

“The fact that we beat them with a bit to spare in Newbridge bears no resemblance to what's likely to happen at Croke Park. It's a different game, we're now into knockout competition,” he told Gaelic Life.

“I would be quite sure that they will feel they under-performed against us in Newbridge a few weeks ago. They had a lot of chances early in the second half which were missed and could have clawed back our lead,” he added.

Martin Penrose, Conor Clarke, PJ Quinn, Dermot Carlin and Conor Gormley have all been drafted into the starting line-up for the Ulster side.

Tyrone: N Morgan; PJ Quinn, C Clarke, C McCarron;D Carlin, Mattie Donnelly, C Gormley; C Cavanagh, S Cavanagh; J McMahon, P Harte, Mark Donnelly; M Penrose, S O’Neill, D McCurry.

Kildare: M Donnelan; O Lyons M Foley, H McGrille; P Kelly, E Doyle, P Cribbin; D Flynn, P O’Neill; D Flynn, N Kelly, E O’Faherty; S Johnston, A Smith, J Doyle.
