Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has named five debutants in his side for Sunday's opening Dr McKenna Cup game against Derry. Goalkeeper Niall Morgan gets a first start after switching codes from Dungannon Swifts in the Irish League.

There are three newcomers in defence, with Barry Tierney at corner back, while Ryan McKenna and Danny McBride occupy the wing back slots.

In attack, Kevin Gallagher gets his chance at right half forward, but Kyle Coney will be an absentee after picking up an ankle injury and may not feature in the rest of the competition.
