Huge TV audience watched Donegal's win

Almost 1.4million viewers watched Donegal’s win over Mayo in Croke Park on Sunday, the second highest television audience for the event in the last eight years.
The epic encounter saw 1,397,400 viewers tune in to RTÉ Two’s coverage of the gripping game.
Despite a determined attempts by Mayo, Donegal kept their early lead to claim their first title in 20 years with an average of 960,500 people watching full coverage of the game.
The match was also a hit with fans online with RTÉ’s coverage of the game on RTÉ.ie generating over 43,000 streams within the Island of Ireland.
