Kerry are set to name Eamonn Fitzmaurice as the new manager of the county’s senior football side.
According to a report in the Irish Examiner, the appointment will be ratified over the weekend, with Fitzmaurice taking over from Jack O’Connor, who stepped down last weekend.
The Finuge clubman is currently the boss of the county U-21 side and was a selector with O’Connor when the Kingdom won the All-Ireland in 2009. As a player he won three All-Ireland senior medals with the green and gold.
