Kildare in no rush over management decision

Kildare chairman John McMahon has stated that their county board are not in a hurry to confirm their management for next season.
There is doubt over Kieran McGeeney’s future with the county after a comprehensive defeat to Cork in the All-Ireland Football quarter-finals last week.
McMahon told the Evening Herald that he believes McGeeney will not walk away from the role: “Kieran has to make his own mind up first and there is a consultation process there with the management team, the players and the board.
“There is most definitely not any rush to get things sorted. We need to give people time to digest the result. The result was the result and it was a huge shock to everybody but we will all take a bit of time.
"We're not talking about months here, we're talking about weeks, but Kieran McGeeney is not a quitter."
