A report in the Mayo News claims that Seamus O'Shea (groin), Peadar Gardiner (foot) and Aidan Campbell (hip) are unlikely to feature in Sunday’s Connacht SFC final against Sligo.

The trio sat out at a practice match last weekend, raising doubts about their participation in the Hyde Park decider.

Aidan O’Shea and Chris Barrett did take part in Sunday’s trial match as boss James Horan ponders his starting XV which is expected to be named on Wednesday afternoon.

Goalkeeper Kenneth O’Malley has been recalled by Horan as a replacement for Robert Hennelly, who left the panel due to work commitments.

David Kelly is an injury concern for Sligo with an ankle injury. Stephen Coen is the likely replacement for the Tubbercurry attacker.

Sunday’s game is the first Connacht final between the counties since 1997, with Sligo seeking only their fourth success at provincial level.
