Connacht Council opt for Hyde Park as Connacht final venue

Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon will host the Connacht SFC final between Mayo and Sligo on Sunday, 15 July.

The Connacht Council made the decision to green light the Roscommon town venue after a meeting on Thursday night.

This year's finalists last met in the decider in 1997, with Mayo winning by a point.
