Ulster and Munster progressed to the M Donnelly Interprovincial Football final with wins over Connacht and Leinster respectively.
It was all too easy for Ulster against a disappointing Connacht side in Markievicz Park.
Peter Harte and Mark Poland found the net early to compliment scores from the fantastic Owen Mulligan and Conleith Gilligan.
Conor Mortimer scored four of Connacht’s five first-half points as they trailed by massive 11-points at the break.
The second period was a formality with Mortimer and Donie Shine hitting points to offer a glimpse of hope for the home side.
Martin Penrose scored a three-pointer to end all hope for Connacht, capping a 1-04 total for the Tyrone man, and a 3-16 to 0-11 success for Ulster.
It was a much tighter affair in Parnell Park as Munster won by three points aginst Leinster.
Munster raced into a 1-04 to no score advantage with Gary Hurney converting into the net past Stephen Cluxton.
David Tubridy and Tomas O Se were also on target for the seven-point advantage after 12 minutes.
Bernard Brogan and Paddy Keenan got Leinster going and then Cahir Healy found the net. Munster were six points ahead at the interval after Ian Ryan and Paudie Kissane points.
Brogan and Keenan again made inroads for the home side, but five points in succession for Munster gave them a seven-point lead with Hurney, Ryan and Mark Collins amongst the scorers.
The Dublin contingent for Leinster inspired another fightback through Brogan and Cluxton, but a point from Tubridy (0-06) finished the scoring and ensured Munster won by 1-16 to 1-13.
