There were four red cards in Cusack Park as Clare overcame Waterford in the Allianz Football League Division 4.
Waterford finished the match with 12-men as Shane Ahearne, Gary Hurney and substitute Joey Veale were dismissed in the 1-17 to 0-10 defeat.
Gordon Kelly was sent off for Clare but they were always in control of proceedings with Rory Donnelly’s goal a telling factor in the win.
A second half-goal from Ian Ryan helped Limerick to victory against Leitrim.
A tight first-half saw the high wide count supersede the six points the sides shared in the 35 minutes, but it was Limerick that pulled as the match went on to win 1-09 to 0-09.
As expected, Wicklow cruised past Kilkenny in Freshford, sealing a 30-point victory by 3-25 to 1-01.
Wicklow were 2-09 ahead before the Cats got on the scoreboard.
Joey Kelly, Seanie Furlong and Leighton Glynn hit the goals for the Garden men.
