Cork claimed the McGrath Cup with a 0-13 to 0-06 win over Tipperary in Clonmel this afternoon.

The Rebels were in charge from the off, taking a three-point advantage before Tipp got on the scoreboard and by double scores at the break, 0-06 to 0-03.

Points from Paul Kerrigan and Pearse O’Neill were the highlights of the second-half as Cork emerged as seven-point victors.

The final of the O’Byrne Cup between Kildare and DCU was postponed due to Saint Conleth's Park pitch being deemed unplayable.

Laois secured the O’Byrne Cup Shield by beating Wexford 1-15 to 1-06 in Clongeen.

Paul Cahillane's early goal gave Laois the platform to set up the win with David Conway’s prolific shooting also proving decisive.
