Donnelly continues interpro tie-up

Martin Donnelly has confirmed that he will sponsor next month's interprovincial championships.

The Clare businessman has been involved with the inter-pro series since 2001, and this year it was hoped that another backer may have come on board, but Donnelly will continue to be the sole sponsor of the competition.

The M Donnelly Interprovincial football semi-finals take place on February 19 with Leinster taking on Munster in Parnell Park and Connacht hosting Ulster at Markievicz Park.

The hurling semi-finals will be staged the same day with Leinster facing Munster at Nowlan Park and Connacht against Ulster in Ballinasloe’s Duggan Park.

The football final is scheduled for Sunday, 26 February with the hurling decider taking place on Sunday, 4 March.
